COVID-19: No WAEC in 2020, Right Call By The Federal Government

As the Nigerian government has declared that final year secondary school students in the country won’t participate in the forthcoming West African Examination Council(WAEC) examinations, many misinformed Nigerians as regards the threat of Covid-19 are definitely going to attack this decision. 
However, this brave decision should be commended as it is best to protect the sanctity of citizen's life than take a reckless rist that is bound to be regretted collectively later.  
    Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu

It can be recalled that the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, earlier on Wednesday after the week’s virtual Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, said there is no date for school resumption yet and that WAEC examinations will not be held in the country this year. 
He said he would prefer Nigerian students lose an academic year to expose them to dangers.
