After Years of Marriage and Two Kids Man Stabs Wife to Death

The police authority in Jigawa State have arrested a particular Adamu Hassan, 45, for stabbing his wife to death at Gangawa village in Jahun local government area of the state.

SP Abdu Jinjiri who is the police spokesman confirmed the incident to newsmen that the accused allegedly stabbed 25-year-old wife Hauwa Sani to death for an undisclosed reason and took to his heels.

     The Suspect

The incident was reported to have happened in Jahun LGA area where police received the shocking report on 3/7/2020 at about 11:00am and rushed to the scene. 

The victim was taken to a hospital where she was confirmed dead. 

Much to the credit and professional superiority of the police, the suspect has since been later tracked and arrested. 

The victim has been buried by her relations according to Islamic laws while the case has been taken to CID for further investigation.

Findings revealed that the suspect and the deceased have two children and they have been in marriage for the past eight years.

The reason for killing the victim is yet to be ascertained.

The rising case of domestic violence and murder in the country is becoming very worrisome and something has to be done to curb this scary trend.
